What’s new: Today, Intel introduced 8 additional processors, 10th Generation Intel® Core ™ for modern portable computing. The new mobile processors for personal computers (formerly with the code name “Comet Lake”) are tailored to provide greater productivity and performance scales for demanding workloads, of various threads, while still allowing designs Slim and lightweight laptops and 2 in 1 without sacrificing battery life [1]. These processors are performance powers that provide two-digit performance gains compared to the previous generation [2]. The line also includes Intel’s first 6-core processor in the U series, and the best connectivity in its class with Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) and further expansion of Thunderbolt 3. More than 90 additional designs based on The 10th Generation Intel Core family of processors will go on sale during the holiday season.
